EA Sports PGA Tour: smack a golf ball over a battleship

The latest game uses Frostbite 3.

EA Sports has announced that PGA Tour, which is due out in 2015, will be the first game in the series to use DICE's Frostbite 3 Engine.

Weirdly enough, that's not all the game's borrowing from Battlefield. A brief trailer shown at EA's E3 conference showcased "extreme fantasy courses", including one in which you hit a ball over a battleship that's ramming into the shoreline.

Traditional courses will be included, of course, as will traditional golfers in silly little hats. It's "golf without limits," apparently.
