E4 hosting a Summer of Games

Exclusive pursuits for rainy days.

Telly channel E4 has announced the Great British Summer of Games, which aims to find the best web game there is.

The winner will be crowned at the E4 Games Awards, and be picked from a pool of exclusively-comissioned content lead by the gory Strawhat Samurai 2, which is out now. Other games to follow include Janey Thompson's Marathon, Air Pirates and Curse of the Red Ninja.

These will be available from E4 Games, which will also bundle games and puzzles from b3ta.com, plus offer competitions and prizes all summer long.

Great British Summer of Games was decided upon because E4 thinks we will be rained on and forced indoors over the next few months, left with only Big Brother to watch and shout at. It is better than Hollyoaks.
