Doritos VR Battle is nacho usual arcade shooter

Tortilla chip now the basis for an HTC Vive game on Steam.

Doritos have made a VR shooter for HTC Vive.

That's right, the popular snack chip is now the basis for a surreal action game called Doritos VR Battle, which just launched on Steam for £1.99 / $2.99.

Developed by the Amsterdam-based ad agency Capitola VR, Doritos VR Battle is a score-attack shooter set on an abstract mountain comprised of retro vector graphics. You're tasked with ascending the slope while warding off monsters with dual shotguns, avoiding falling stalactites, jumping over obstacles, and of course, collecting Doritos.

The trailer above shows how it all comes together. Naturally most won't have the same space as the folks demoing Doritos Battle VR in the ad, but according to Steam the recommended play space is at least 2m x 1.5m.
