Double Fine Productions' downloadable Halloween-themed role-playing adventure Costume Quest will be released on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on 20th October.

It'll cost 1200 Microsoft Points or £10.

Costume Quest is the first of two THQ-published downloadable games from Tim Schafer's Double Fine. The second, due out early next year, is yet to be revealed.

Schafer's also got another two unannounced games up his sleeve. And he's brought old Monkey Island pal Ron Gilbert on board, too. Exciting times.

We had a chat with Tim and Costume Quest's designer Tasha Harris last week. Battlecob!
