Bayonetta delayed until next year
SEGA hoping to avoid Xmas craziness.SEGA has delayed the Western release of Bayonetta until 2010.
The PS3 and Xbox 360 title will still launch in Japan on 29th October, as planned - but SEGA is hoping to avoid the Christmas rush when it comes to the rest of the world.
"Bayonetta is an extremely important new IP for SEGA and adds a new level of depth to our growing portfolio," said SEGA West president Mike Hayes.
"As a result of market analysis, we have taken a Publishing decision that January 2010 is the optimum release time in the Western Markets to maximise this exciting new title's potential."
Bayonetta, you may recall, stars a bespectacled witch with guns attached to her feet who can take out enemies with her hair. You can read all about it, and watch some videos, over on the gamepage.
