Far Cry 5 - Cliffhanger solution

How to find and complete Far Cry 5's Cliffhanger treasure puzzle.

Far Cry 5 Cliffhanger is a puzzle you have to solve within the Whitetail Mountains region.

It's one of many Prepper Stash locations you'll find throughout the game, all giving you rewards once you solve and figure out how to access them.

Cliffhanger solution

Location: Ozhigwan Falls

Rewards: $1,000, 3 x perk magazines

When you reach Ozhigwan Falls, you'll see a waterfall cascading down into a river below. At the bottom of this gorge is a truck that's crashed. This is your first port of call for this Prepper Stash.

Make your way down to the bottom slowly, and keep your eyes peeled for a cougar that prowls this specific location (popping out your binoculars or sweeping the area with your scope will help you spot, track and deal with it).

When you reach the bottom, you'll find a body and a Prepper Stash note next to him and the truck. Turns out you need a key to unlock the box and (what a shock) the key to open it as back up near where you started.

Before you can deal with that though, a helicopter will appear to try and gun you down. Take refuge in the rocks just up the path from the truck. Shoot him down with an RPG or snipe the pilot.

Now head back the way you came down, and look out for blue cord ledges. You'll be aiming for the waterfall itself as there are a number of grapple points you'll need to use to scale the tall cliff faces here.

Clamber up the first grapple point, leap across and use the second one to swing higher. When you're clambered up, turn around and take out the two cultists patrolling the area you're looking for. You'll find the yellow key you need next to the body of Ted.

Now you need to get back down to the truck. You can either climb down or, like we did, use a parachute (which you can unlock for a single perk point in the Perks menu) to glide back down to the truck. Unlock the long box to get the goodies within.
