Far Cry 5 - Mayday solution

How to find and complete Far Cry 5's Mayday treasure puzzle.

Far Cry 5 Mayday is a puzzle you have to solve within the Whitetail Mountains region.

It's one of many Prepper Stash locations you'll find throughout the game, all giving you rewards once you solve and figure out how to access them.

Mayday solution

Location: Rattlesnake Trail Bridge

Rewards: 3 x perk magazines, $1,000

Word of warning: there's a lot of climbing and grappling in this Prepper Stash so be prepared to get a sweat on. We also suggest you pack a shotgun as there will be a lot of wild animals trying to take chunks out of you along the way.

At the Rattlesnake Trail Bridge, read the Prepper Stash note at the near end of the bridge. Now run across the bridge, turn right and follow the path as it wraps around to the left. Look up and use the grapple point to ascend to the next level.

Move to the left-hand side and use the blue cord ledges to reach the higher levels. Use the next anchor point to grapple up.

You'll now be near a broken bridge. In order to cross, use the grapple point underneath to swing to the ledge underneath the bridge on the other side. Now leap across the water to the ledge with the blue cords.

Turn around and take out the two cultists goons. Now climb up and leap over the broken bridge, passing the plane wreckage and following the trail up.

Now use the grapple point to reach the next section of the mountains. There may be a cougar around here so be careful. Now use the grapple point to swing over the broken bridge. Now rappel down to the next level, then leap across the gap.

Now follow the path up the stairs, around the corner, then use the grapple point to swing across. Now use the next grapple point to ascend this final cliff face.

At the top, kill three initial cultists looting the crash site, but beware of three more patrolling the area. When it's clear, look for a yellow key inside a broken wooden crate near the propellor.

Use it on a long, rectangular box near the cockpit remains. Inside, you'll find all the gear you need.
