After a strict regimen of "daily purification rituals and prayers in the direction of Relic's offices", the guys from Barking Dog Studios have decided that they should add a whole range of new features to "Homeworld : Cataclysm", their semi-sequel to last year's critically acclaimed space-bound real time strategy game, "Homeworld".

"Fog-of-war, upgradeable ship technologies, linking ships, energy shielding, color by vertex effects, new weapons and weapons effects, lens flare, new ships with new animations, a nasty new race, more flexible key binding, adjustable HUD information, waypoints, and external construction of ships" are all on the cards, as well as improvements to the game's interface.

To find out more, read the interview with the team over on Voodoo Extreme. And stay tuned for an exclusive hands-on preview of the game, coming soon right here on EuroGamer!
