Yes boys and girls, I checked, and it isn't April Fool's Day yet. So it looks like this story over at the Adrenaline Vault just might be true. Apparently John Romero's long overdue first person shooter, Daikatana, is finally done. A sign of the impending apocalypse?

This .plan update from AI programmer Noel Stephens seems to confirm it, with Noel saying that he is taking the weekend off for the first time in months, adding "*hint* *hint*". Rumour has it Stevie Case and John Romero are off on vacation this weekend as well. Scary...
