Yakuza 5 currently free if you have PlayStation Plus

UPDATE: Fixed!

2.20pm: And it's been fixed - Yakuza 5 is no longer showing up as free for Plus subscribers.

Fat Princess, the PS3 game which should have been free instead, is still not showing up as free. Presumably it will be, as intended, after whoever is in charge of these things gets back from their tea break and realises.

1.15pm: PlayStation 3 game Yakuza 5 is currently available to download for free if you have PlayStation Plus (and live in Europe).

It's a bit of a surprise, as this month's PlayStation Plus games have already been announced and Yakuza 5 is not one of them.

July's PlayStation Plus list of games is supposed to just include Fat Princess and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for PS3 owners. Not that we're complaining.

Fat Princess is currently not available as planned, so it looks like someone at PlayStation Europe simply pressed the wrong button.

Still, if it is a mistake it would be worthwhile grabbing it sooner rather than later.

You can nab it now from the PS3's own store or via the web. We've done so already and it definitely works. Here's a link.
