Worms Reloaded price "very attractive"

Out spring/summer, says Team17.

Team17 has told Eurogamer that Worms Reloaded will be sold on Steam for "a very attractive price" sometime in late spring or early summer. You'll be able to try the game for yourself via a limited beta sometime "soon".

Studio leader Martyn Brown explained that Worms Reloaded - revealed earlier today - will be an "enhanced edition of the (very successful) console versions of the last few years".

"We know PC players have been crying out for a new 2D edition of Worms for some time now," he said.

"We'd not really approached the PC market for a while because when we were working with third-party publishers there was little appetite for PC retail games. Now we're independent again, we have much more control, and it's clear that PC gamers are far more savvy with regards to digital."

Brown said he is confident that Worms Reloaded will be "a lot of fun" and appeal to old fans and new players alike.
