Watch: We hosted a live show at Vault Festival and had a lovely time

B.U.T.T.S.

If you're at all familiar with the Eurogamer video team, you know that there are two things we really enjoy - namely the spirit of competition and constant bickering. When we were given the opportunity to indulge both of these vices in front of a live audience at London's Vault Festival, then, we jumped at the chance.

However, trying to distill hundreds of hours of petty quarrels and let's play videos into just 90 minutes was never going to be easy, so we did the sensible thing - we spray painted a frying pan gold, made up a terrible acronym and gave it our best shot.

So it is, with great pleasure, that we humbly present to you The B.U.T.T.S. Challenge - Let's Play Live. Which team member emerges victorious? Why is there a roll of tin foil involved? And seriously, why did we think it would be a good idea to read pornographic video game fan fiction out loud in front of a live audience? The answers to all of these questions and maybe one or two more lie in the video below.

Finally, on behalf of the whole video team I'd like to say a quick thanks to everybody who came and saw us live - we had an absolute blast and managed to raise some money for Special Effect, so thank you for taking time out of your Saturday night to indulge us in a great deal of silliness. Thanks also to Vault Festival and its continuing mission to help support people who want to want to put on a show. The festival runs until the 18th of March and has a great lineup of theatre and comedy - more details can be found here.
