Watch Daigo, Justin Wong and other pros play Street Fighter V

Is that a Birdie?

At E3 this week Capcom held a 12-person invitational tournament for upcoming fighting game Street Fighter V - and it starred some of the world's best fighting game players.

The likes of Daigo, Justin Wong, Xian, Tokido and Fuudo played Street Fighter V using the characters announced so far: Ryu, Chun-Li, M. Bison, Nash, Cammy and Birdie. Birdie, even at this early stage, looks like a favourite.

The video, below, from YouTuber "XusesGB", contains the entire, two-and-a-half hour tournament, and, along with commentary from Capcom's Peter "ComboFiend" Rosas, offers a great in-depth look at the fighting game and its new mechanics.

Street Fighter V is due out on PlayStation 4 and PC spring 2016.
