Ubisoft confirms Assassin's Creed 3 PC release date

For the first time less than a month after consoles.

Assassin's Creed 3 will arrive for PC on 23rd November 2012, publisher Ubisoft announced.

That's the date prophesised by Eurogamer in June, when word of the always-delayed PC version reached our ears.

23rd November is less than a month after its PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 brethren. It continues a steady improvement in the amount of time that PC users have had to wait for Assassin Creed titles.

The first game arrived on PC five months after it launched on PS3 and Xbox 360. Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood arrived four months later, while last year's Revelations launched just a month after.

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Assassin's Creed 3 will arrive on 31st October in Europe. A Wii U version will also follow, available at that console's launch.
