Total War: Warhammer 2 free to play on Steam all weekend

Hell of a Skaven.

Creative Assembly's wonderful fantasy strategy game Total War: Warhammer 2 is free to play on Steam all weekend.

In fact, it's free to play right now, until 9pm UK time on Sunday, 19th April.

All Total War: Warhammer 2 "free-LC" can be played during the free weekend, but you'll need to download these separately. If you buy Warhammer 2 DLC during the free weekend, you won't need to re-buy it if you decide to buy the main game later.

Meanwhile, Creative Assembly teased what's to come to the game in the video below:

Richie Shoemaker penned Eurogamer's Total War: Warhammer 2 review, giving it a recommended badge. "It's taken nearly two decades, but they've finally nailed it," he wrote. "Warhammer 2 is Total War perfected."

It's still not called Total Warhammer though, is it? Criminal, that.
