Switchblade arrives this month

And goes free to play.

Five-versus-five vehicular combat MOBA Switchblade launches fully this month, on 22nd January.

From then on you won't need to cough up the current £2 entry fee - Switchblade will be entirely free to play.

Switchblade has been in Early Access since last August on PC and PlayStation 4. Both platforms will get the free, full version at the same time in a couple of weeks.

The game is the work of Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions studio Lucid Games, which is largely filled by former Bizarre Creations talent (think Project Gotham Racing), with assistance from Wushu Studios, which is largely made up of ex-Evolution staff members (think MotorStorm and Driveclub).
