Super Smash Bros. delayed

In both the US and Japan.

It's official: Wii exclusive Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been delayed.

In Japan, the game will now be released on January 31st instead of the 24th as originally planned. In the US, it's been delayed by a month.

SSBB was supposed to be out there on February 10th. However, a new post on the game's official website reads, "Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we've had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.

"I deeply apologise to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience."

Nintendo has never announced a European release date for SSBB. Last we heard it was due out in Q2 this year, but that might have changed now.

Still, there are plenty of videos and screenshots to enjoy in the meantime - head over to the gamepage to take a look.
