There's a new video been released that shows Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment being played on PS4.
This is an adventure game made by a developer called Frogwares - a studio that's plied a trade making Sherlock Holmes adventure games, among others, on PC for years.
Now it's taking the plunge onto consoles - PS4 and Xbox One as well as PS3 and Xbox 360. And PC.
Frogwares knows its source material and this is Sherlock in the 19th Century rather than BBC's modern re-imagining. There are plenty of similarities in the eccentricity of Holmes and how thoughts float around his head, but whether these are amped up because of the success of the television series, or simply a commonality due to the original text, I'm afraid I can't say.
