PS Store: Sony sorry for Monkey "snafu"

Plus: huge UNO discount, free songs.

With today's PlayStation Store restock comes an apology - a sorry to anyone who bought the cut-price Tales of Monkey Island series during the Christmas break.

You were supposed to get all five episodes, not just the first.

"A quick word about Tales of Monkey Island from the Festive Offers," writes Sony on the Euro PlayStation blog. "You may have seen (or indeed been part of) a snafu in our entitlement system that meant when you purchased Tales of Monkey Island you were only provided with the first chapter of five.

"This has now been fixed so anyone purchasing the season from now on will be provided with all five episodes."

"Anyone who has already purchased the package while it was only providing one episode will have their purchase refunded to their wallet in the next few days. Once you've been refunded you will be able to re-purchase the game again and will receive all episodes.

"As a result, we've extended the offer on Tales of Monkey Island for one additional week, until the 12th January ... We're really sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused any of you."

Other content of note today includes an enormous discount for UNO, down from £6.30 to just 80 pence; a free HMX (Harmonix) Bands Pack for Rock Band 3; and the Assassin's Creed: Ascendance animated film, which bridges the story-gap between Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood.
