PopCap's Bejeweled 3 in December

Now with relaxing Zen mode.

PopCap has announced that a third game in the Bejeweled series will launch on 7th December.

You'll be able to smash and grab it from PopCap.com.

Bejeweled 3 adds four new interpretations of the gem-swapping formula - such as Butterflies, Ice Storm and Poker - to the existing variations of Bejeweled 2. Quest mode has also been stuffed with a further 11 mini-games to make up a total of 40 quests.

Bejeweled 3 offers Zen mode, too, which allows you to customise gameplay with ambient sounds and binaural beats. It's relaxing, apparently.

All of those features will be wrapped in sparkly HD visuals with fluid gameplay and crisp audio.

Bejeweled, the original, came out 10 years ago. PopCap's humble creation went on to become one of gaming's top 10 greatest franchises, and has sold more than 50 million units on 17 platforms around the world.
