Ori and the Blind Forest confirmed for Switch

The Microsoft / Nintendo love-in continues.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch.

The news came at the end of Nintendo's latest Indie World video, below.

Ori and the Blind Forest is of course a Microsoft game previously exclusive to Xbox and Windows PC, but Xbox Game Studios is publishing it on Nintendo Switch for release on 27th September 2019.

It signals the continuation of Microsoft and Nintendo's current warm working relationship, and follows the announcement of Banjo-Kazooie as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the release of previous Xbox exclusive Cuphead on Switch.

If you're not familiar with Ori and the Blind Forest, it's a gorgeous and emotive action platformer that tugs on the heartstrings as much as your reflexes. Check out our Ori and the Blind Forest review for more.
