Chilean film director Jorge Olguin has signed up to direct the cinematic version of Capcom's Clock Tower survival horror, IMDB and the excellently named are reporting.

Olguin's previous work includes Angel negro and Sangre eterna. The latter is described by IMDBers as a pretty decent vampire film given the shoestring budget.

According to Gorezone, Olguin will waste no time getting going, with a Todd Farmer (Jason X) script already in place for production to begin in December.

Previously we'd heard that Clock Tower would focus on the third game in the series, which follows a little girl called Alyssa as she tries to get out of the way of annoying spirits by solving puzzles.
