DAOC Catacombs launch day looms

Expansion pack to be in the shops by the end of this month.

The latest instalment in the Dark Age of Camelot series will launch in Europe by the end of March, according to publishers Hip Interactive.

The DAOC Catacombs expansion pack will feature brand new locations to explore within the kingdoms of Hibernia, Midgard and Albion, plus new character classes, more customisation options and improved graphics. There's also an extra feature entitled 'Private Adventuring' which offers made-to-measure quests unique to individual players.

Dark Age of Camelot is still pretty popular in Europe with 180,000 subscribers. It is also the only game to offer online play in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

Catacombs is the third expansion pack in the series following Shrouded Isles and Trials of Atlantis. Two free add-ons, Foundations and New Frontiers, are also available from www.camelot-europe.com.
