SEGA Europe is preparing to launch its first (and hopefully not its last) PS2 EyeToy title later this month, the publisher confirmed this week. SEGA SuperStars, developed by Sonic Team, is due out on October 22nd.

As regular readers well know, we've a lot of time for SuperStars, which features 12 mini-games based around popular SEGA characters and franchises - Sonic, Billy Hatcher, NiGHTS, Crazy Taxi, ChuChu Rocket, Space Channel 5, Samba de Amigo, Monkey Ball, House of the Dead, Puyo Pop, Virtua Fighter and Virtua Striker.

You can find details on all the games in our extensive hands-on preview coverage, or if you're already done with that then you can clamp your router's jaws around a 6MB QuickTime version of the game's introductory movie, available from Eurofiles here.

Needless to say, we should have a review of SEGA SuperStars in the coming fortnight or so.
