More Pirates of the Caribbean

New film, new games.

Shiver me timbers, it's more Pirates of the Caribbean from Disney - lining up on every conceivable platform to go hand-in-hand with the new film in May.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End will be cobbled together for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, PS2 and PSP by Eurocom, whilst Amaze will handle the DS version. They're all due out on 25th May, and are promised to unlock the salty seaman in all of us.

It's familiar turf again, as you reprise your role as Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, or Elizabeth Swann, embarking on a fantasy voyage to the ends of the earth, uncovering all sorts of nautical nasties along the way.

Disney promises that each platform will boast a individually tailored experience, as well as a dynamic duelling system you'll need to use to outwit your scurvy foes - replicating real action on Wii with swinging and thrusting motions.

"With the action, excitement, unforgettable characters and expansive locations from the blockbuster films, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End will be the definitive 'Pirates' videogame experience for fans," said Craig Relyea, vice president of marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. "Our games go beyond the films to introduce legendary pirates, new locations and unique endings that will satisfy the pirate in each of us."

Unfortunately the last two games in the series have been entirely forgettable, so we wouldn't advise you to hold your breath.
