LittleBigPlanet 2 special edition incoming

Plus, Move bundle confirmed for US.

A Little Big Planet 2 special edition including the game's DLC has been confirmed for a North American release.

As seen on the PlayStation Blog, it's due on shelves on 15th November and includes the following additional content:

  • PlayStation Move support: Support for Move controls
  • LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling: Five new levels, seven mini-levels, new items and Move tools for the level editor.
  • Disney/Pixar's Toy Story Level Pack- Five new levels, two mini-levels, alien costume and more.
  • Disney/Pixar's Toy Story Costume Pack - Buzz Lightyear, Slinky Dog, Hamm, and Rex costumes for Sackboy.
  • Pets Costumes - All 12 from the Cats Costume Pack, Dogs Costume Pack, and Even More Animals Costume Pack.

That lot apparently all adds up to over $35 of savings.

North America is also getting a LittleBigPlanet 2 Move bundle on the same date, which includes the special edition, a Move controller, a Move navigation controller and an Eye Camera.

Sony hasn't confirmed either for a European release but we'll be onto them for clarification just as soon as its UK office gets out of bed.

In other LBP news, there's a couple of pieces of new DLC on the way. As of next week you'll be able to download Nathan Drake garb to dress your Sackboy in, as well as a special cake outfit to mark the series' third birthday.
