Killzone Shadow Fall's Intercept DLC is now standalone

Brings four-player co-op battles for £16.

Killzone Shadow Fall's Intercept DLC is now available to those who don't own the parent game.

Priced at £15.99 / €19.99 / $19.99, Intercept is essentially Shadow Fall's "Horde Mode," wherein it pits groups of up to four players against endless waves of enemies. It has some neat wrinkles though, like a Demon's Souls-esque death system where players need to bank their points at a base for them to count, while their multiplier grows the longer they go without doing this. Get killed without making it back, however, and all those points are forfeit.

"Dismiss Intercept at your peril," wrote Jon Denton in his glowing Intercept review. "This is Shadow Fall at its best, by a distance, and a reminder that the Dutch studio still knows how to make things go bang."
