Itagaki's Devil's Third is now a Wii U exclusive - report

Has added first-person shooting and a level editor.

Ninja Gaiden director Tomonobu Itagaki's upcoming action game, Devil's Third, will be a Wii U-exclusive.

The eccentric director revealed this new platform migration in an interview with IGN. Previously the game was being published by THQ, but when the company went bankrupt the fate of Itagaki's action game became uncertain. Last we checked, Combat Arms developer Doobic Game Studios had teamed up with Itagaki's Valhalla Studios to bring the game to PC and tablets in addition to PS3 and Xbox 360, but it sounds like that's no longer the case.

According to IGN, Devil's Third contains not only melee combat and third-person shooting, but first-person shooting as well. It also features competitive multiplayer, a level editor, and customisable characters.

Earlier this year the famed director said Devil's Third was around 80 per cent complete.
