Hyrule Warriors confirms more returning Zelda: Breath of the Wild characters

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is shaping up to be a love letter to Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with return appearances from various fan favourite characters.

Hestu.

Today's trailer confirms the return of the game's diminutive Korok characters, which look like they'll be once again hidden for you to find.

It also includes - and gives a voice to - Hestu, the giant maraca-wielding Korok who expanded your Breath of Wild inventory in exchange for you collecting the game's many hidden Korok Seeds. (Collect every seed in the game and Hestu rewarded you with a giant glittering turd. No, really.)

Earlier trailers showed off yet more Breath of the Wild characters set for a return, including younger versions of Sheikah researchers Purah and Robbie, as well as the villainous Yiga Clan.

Age of Calamity is a follow-up to the original Hyrule Warriors which acts as a prequel to Breath of the Wild set during the big war against Calamity Ganon glimpsed through flashback videos. You play as Link, Zelda and the four Champions as you take on Ganon's forces. It looks a bit like this:
