Hyper Light Drifter is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this month

Vita version this autumn at the earliest, Wii U tbd.

Stylish Zelda-like Hyper Light Drifter is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on 26th, July.

Developer Heart Machine made the announcement to Gematsu. The game was described by the developer as an "action adventure RPG in the vein of the best 16bit classics, with modernised mechanics and designs on a much grander scale."

Heart Machine noted in its latest Kickstarter update that the Vita version will be released this autumn at the earliest due to optimisation issues. A Wii U port is also in the works, though no release window has been set.

The action-adventure title raised an astonishing $645,158 on Kickstarter, roughly 2300 per cent of its $27k goal.

Our Chris Donlan called Heart Machine's debut "punishing and precise - and incredibly beautiful" upon recommending it in his Hyper Light Drifter review.
