Halo: Reach DLC already on the way?

Inflated Achievements total sighted.

Bungie may well be preparing Halo: Reach downloadable content already, judging by images of the game posted on the official site that show 1250 available gamerpoints rather than the box-standard 1000.

The images (we've borrowed one below) are from the latest Bungie.net update in a section illustrating how to install the game to hard disk, but seem to give away that the game will soon benefit from new Achievements and gamerpoints.

Look closely and you can see that the version Bungie appears to be using internally has an available gamerscore of 1250 and 59 Achievements, compared to the standard 1000 and 50 respectively.

There's no immediate clarification of this - whether it's related to downloadable content or whatever - and was presumably posted in error, but we'll let you know if we hear anything.

Increased Reach?
