Halo: Nightfall to debut on 10th November

Along with a first look at Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer beta.

Halo: Nightfall, the Ridley Scott-produced live-action series about Bungie's popular sci-fi saga, will debut on Monday 10th November via Xbox Live, Xbox.com and Twitch.

As announced by Microsoft, this will be part of the first HaloFest, an online celebration of all things Halo commemorating the 11th November launch of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

HaloFest will kick off at 8pm PST (so 4am Tuesday UK time) and will also include the first look at Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer beta ahead of its 29th December release, along with interviews with the dev team.

There will be other Halo-related activities for the two days leading up to HaloFest like the Halo: The Master Chief Collection Launch Invitational, a tournament wherin 32 eSports stars will compete in Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer for $50K in prizes - and the chance to be the first to play Halo 5: Guardian's multiplayer beta.
