Fallout 4 won't be at VGX this weekend

VATS what Bethesda said.

Fallout 4 won't be at VGX this weekened, because Bethesda won't be there.

"Bethesda is not showing/talking about anything at VGX ... Take deep breaths," wrote Betehsda's chief spokesperson, Pete Hines, on Twitter (via Ausgamers).

Excitement had been building around a possible reveal ever since Bethesda was spotted trademarking Fallout 4 in November.

The team - Bethesda Game Studios - has been working wholesale on a new project since April. Nowhere has the game been confirmed as Fallout 4, but the whole world expects it.

Bethesda also has a history of revealing big new games at this time of year. Skyrim was announced days after the Spike Video Game Awards (the then-name of VGX) in December 2010, and released a year later. The mouth watering prospect of Fallout 4 following suit, then, is gloriously still alive.
