Dance Central dev confirms Vidrhythm

"It will be awesome," says Harmonix.

Dance Central developer Harmonix has confirmed it is working on a project called Vidrhythm.

Harmonix communications director John Drake wouldn't say what, exactly, Vidrhythm is, but promised Giant Bomb "it will be awesome".

Harmonix is currently working on Kinect-exclusive Dance Central 2, due out at the end of the year.

It has one important feature that was missing from its otherwise excellent predecessor - simultaneous dancing for two players.

The game also features voice control. All songs from the first Dance Central can be imported into Dance Central 2, giving the game over 100 songs from launch.

Harmonix bought itself out from previous owners Viacom after slowing sales of Rock Band.
