COD: Advanced Warfare a mere 55GB on PC

You'll make it fit, easy PC.

How's your expensive solid-state drive working out? Got 55GB spare? Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will need it.

Yes, Sledgehammer's promising take on Call of Duty measures in as one of the biggest PC games around. Usually the beefy games are MMOs. Still, it's not out until 4th November, so you've got a couple of weeks to clear some space.

The other system requirements are less remarkable. These (via PCGamer) are the minimum:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 810 @ 2.80 GHz or better
  • Memory: 6GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 @ 1GB / ATI Radeon HD 5870 @ 1GB or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 55GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX-compatible

Advanced Warfare hopes to shake up the Call of Duty formula as Sledgehammer Games' first proper solo stab at the series. There's lots of reasons why that's an exciting prospect, which Martin Robinson explored recently.
