Capcom delays LP2, SSFIV, MH3

Avoids Q1 2010 like the autumn.

Capcom has delayed the release of Lost Planet 2, Super Street Fighter IV and Monster Hunter Tri.

Those three, as well as Dead Rising 2, will now be "spread across all four quarters" of fiscal 2011, which begins 1st April.

Why? "[To] avoid competing with the major titles the other companies plan to introduce," explained an investor document.

Capcom's early 2010 is not barren, however, as Dark Void blasts off on 15th January and Tatsunoko vs Capcom arrives on 29th January.

But the publisher appears to be hedging its bets, halving performance expectations for jetpack shooter Dark Void down from 1.3m sales to 600,000 by March.
