Atlus' Radiant Historia heading west

But no Euro plans for DS RPG yet.

Radiant Historia, the latest offering from developer Atlus' crack Shin Megami Tensei RPG team, is coming to the US.

The game, which sees you traveling through time to stop two super-powers from destroying the world, will launch on the DS in February 2011.

Atlus is promising an innovative grid-based combat system alongside your standard questing and treasure hunting.

No European date has been announced yet. Atlus US told Eurogamer that it isn't out of the question but there are no concrete plans at this stage.

Here's hoping a publishing partner steps in soon - Atlus' last few in-house efforts have all hit the mark. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 managed an 8/10 on PlayStation 2 last year, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey scored an 8/10 on DS in April and Wii slice 'em up Trauma Team won a 9/10 in May.
