Anthem has adjusted its annoying Tomb challenge mission

Music to our ears.

You may have been busy playing Anthem all weekend if you're an EA/Origin Access subscriber, but the game does not officially launch in shops until this Friday. And it's then Anthem will receive its big (and some would say much-needed) day one patch.

We've been playing the game a lot - Martin published his early, unpatched Anthem impressions on Monday - and one of the chief grievances we've found is its progress-blocking Tomb challenge, which requires the user complete a bunch of fiddly challenges in the game's open world before being able to progress. Tasks included killing enemies, opening chests and reviving allies.

Happily - and quietly - this has been changed so you'll start making progress towards these beginning when you hit level three.

Eurogamer's review will go live after we've had a chance to play the game with its day one patch installed.
