Yager has lost Dead Island 2, but it still has Dreadnought

Take evasive action!

Yager is no longer working on Dead Island 2 - and it's paying the price - but the German developer still has eye-catching PC spaceship battle game Dreadnought.

Dreadnought sees players command a massive spaceship in team deathmatch and team elimination modes. There are five classes, which the video, below, runs through. Think World of Tanks in space.

It's worth noting Dreadnought is free to download, which means it's supported by microtransactions. Yager has yet to say which in-game items it will sell, and for how much, but insists it's aiming for a "balanced and fair" game for all players.

A closed beta is planned for early 2016. One to watch.
