VF5 360 gets online multiplayer

Plus analogue control and more.

SEGA has revealed that the Xbox 360 version of Virtua Fighter 5 will come complete with Live multiplayer when it's released in August.

And that's not all. We now know that it will boast the latest arcade update and have optional analogue control and vibration support. There's also more fighters to face-off against in the Quest mode, as well as items to collect and emblems with which to customise your appearance.

You'll even be able to earn in-game money to spend on lots of bits and pieces in a fancy shop, lending a little more incentive to head-to-head battles over Live.

The DOJO mode has some new tricks, too, in the form of leaderboards and more training settings to help you get to grips with it all.

Virtua Fighter 5 earned a firm place in our hearts when we played it on PS3 earlier this year, earning itself a much deserved nine out of ten. Thanks to Richard Leadbetter's detailed comparison article we know the Xbox 360 version will look almost identical, and with its new additions could see itself reaching the much coveted score of 10. We shall see.

Virtua Fighter 5 is due for release on Xbox 360 in Autumn.
