Ubisoft buys The Crew developer Ivory Tower

Say high.

Ubisoft has bought the developer behind racing game The Crew.

French studio Ivory Tower worked with a variety of Ubisoft developers on The Crew, which came out last year. It's enjoyed over three million players worldwide, and this year sees the launch of an expansion, The Crew Wild Run.

Ivory Tower is home to 100 people, a post on the Ubisoft Blog revealed, who "have developed a recognised expertise in driving, building massive open worlds and creating games with strong online and 'games as a service' components, all of which will be huge benefits for Ubisoft as a whole".
