S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on sale this week

Save two-thirds and pay just £3.50.

The price of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is being slashed by 75 per cent this week on Steam.

That means the radioactive openworld shooter-cum-RPG is now only £3.50. The offer ends on 2nd November.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. took over one hundred years to make, but the wait was worthwhile; Shadow of Chernobyl - set around the Ukranian nuclear disaster zone - is a startlingly atmospheric game. Bugs upset the launch code, but by and large they have been ironed out. User-created mods, particularly Oblivion Lost, also add considerable legs to the 2007 PC shooter.
