This year's BAFTA Fellowship award goes to...
King! No not really.
Last year it was Gabe Newell, and before him Peter Molyneux, Will Wright and Shigeru Miyamoto. The BAFTA Fellowship is, according to BAFTA, "the highest accolade bestowed".
And this year it will be awarded to Rockstar Games, maker of the Grand Theft Auto series of games. It is the first time the coveted accolade has been given to more than one person.
Founding brothers Dan and Sam Houser will, along with Leslie Benzies and Aaron Garbut, be on hand to accept the award. They'll give a speech, but what will they say? Will they play it cool, mirroring the edgy urban atmosphere of their games? Or will they be disappointingly polite?
Regardless, Rockstar Games is unquestionably worthy of the award, of making an "outstanding and exceptional contribution" to games.
Grand Theft Auto is the gaming brand after all, and Rockstar Games has stayed on top of its game for generation after generation, culminating in the record-breaking release of Grand Theft Auto 5 last year.
The series began as a top-down crime-'em-up, mostly in cars, on PC, but went stratospheric with the launch of the 3D Grand Theft Auto 3 on PS2 in 2001. What the studio will be able to create now on PS4 and Xbox One we can only imagine, and keep imagining, day after day after day.

The actual event is being hosted in London at the Tobacco Dock, and will be hosted again by Irish comedian Dara O'Briain.
Grand Theft Auto 5 itself is up for eight BAFTA nominations including Best Game. It's up against Tearaway, Assassin's Creed 4, The Last of Us, Super Mario 3D World and Papers, Please. But not, surprisingly, BioShock Infinite.
