The third episode of Doctor Who: The Adventure Games will be called TARDIS and feature that famous big blue box.

Due Friday, 27th August, the game requires each nook and cranny of the TARDIS to be investigated so that normality can be restored to the time machine. Once that's done, you'll have the chance to pilot the TARDIS for yourself.

"TARDIS is a brilliant, brilliant adventure," reckoned executive producer Steven Moffat aloud. "It's funny, touching, terrifying, amazing - everything a Doctor Who episode should be.

"Since 1963, kids have wondered what it would be like to control the TARDIS. Now we're handing complete control of the most powerful ship in all of space and time to a generation of children. Everybody duck!"

Doctor Who: The Adventure Games is being made by the same people in charge of the television show, including actors Matt Smith and Karen Gillan (the Doctor and Amy).

The Doctor Who games are available on PC and Mac from the BBC website. They cost nothing.
