SW Republic Heroes demo on Live

LucasArts is offering an Xbox Live demo for Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes.

This is the cartoon action game where Obi-Wan Kenobi's beard appears to be carved from wood.

There's drop-in and drop-out co-op to sample, either as a Lightsaber-wielding Jedi or as a Clone Trooper with guns galore.

Don't expect much depth, but do prepare for a colourful, mindless romp. Read our Republic Heroes E3 preview to find out more.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes is due out this September on DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360. There may be a PS3 demo available later today.
