SSF4 Arcade Edition Ver. 2012 announced

Free balance patch out by end of the year.

A free balance patch for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition will release by the end of the year, Capcom has announced.

The patch will bring the game to Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition version 2012.

At a panel at fighting game tournament Evo 2011, Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono said location tests for the updated version will be held in major Japanese cities towards the end of the summer.

Arcade Edition, which launched on home console earlier this year, came under fire from some fans for upsetting the finely-tuned balance of the character roster.

New character Yun in particular is singled out as being overpowered. Many established characters saw nerfs with the release of the game.
