Sony won't cut PS3 price at Leipzig

"It's not going to happen," says man.

Sony has dismissed rumours a PS3 price cut will be announced at the Leipzig Games Convention this week.

Speaking to Reuters spokesperson Nick Caplin said, "It's not going to happen. If you're coming for that you'll be disappointed."

There will be some announcements, though - or Sony's press conference is going to be very dull. It will begin at 5pm Central European Time / 6pm GMT on Wednesday. Eurogamer will be bringing you all the action as it happens with our live text report, so why not tune in? Last year the head of SCE Germany sang karaoke with a band called TheDead Trousers, don't forget. As if you could.
