Sony giving away free PlayStation Mobile games

10 free titles over the festive season.

Sony has announced a five week giveaway of PlayStation Mobile games for the festive season.

Two titles will be made available for free download each week, the EU PlayStation blog has announced, starting today, 27th November. The line-up of games will then refresh every Wednesday.

The offer will pause after 18th December and then pick up again on 8th January. Log in each week and you'll get 10 free games in all.

This week's offerings are Passing Time, a touch-controlled football title from the developer of Frobisher Says! Its pixel art style mixes explosive ball action with old-school top down gameplay.

Also available is Rymdkapsel, part-simulation, part-relaxing alternative to Tetris set in space.

PlayStation Mobile games will run on any smartphone or tablet device with the range's app installed (mostly the Sony Xperia range, and some HTC One models). And, of course, any PlayStation Vita.
