Sega announces London Olympics 2012 release date

45 events included, Kinect/Move support promised.

London 2012: The Official Videogame of the Olympic Games launches on 29th June for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, publisher Sega has announced.

The game, developed by former Creative Assembly off-shoot Sega Studios Australia, features over 45 events and supports both Move and Kinect. There's a new trailer, seemingly narrated by Finchy from The Office, below.

We're keeping our expectations fairly low - Sega's Beijing 2008 tie-in was a dreary affair.

Of course, this isn't the first game released to tie in with this Summer's event - we've already had the rather less straight-laced Mario and Sonic at the London Olympics on Wii and 3DS.
