Platinum's Vanquish for Japan this winter

PlatinumGames' new game Vanquish will be released this winter in Japan. Director Shinji Mikami has also confirmed development for both PS3 and 360.

Speaking to Famitsu (read out loud by NeoGAF), Mikami explained that Vanquish differs from normal shooters by being third-person, fast and filled with robo-baddies. The message: this is not Halo - although you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise after watching the first Vanquish video.
